If Wakefield is indeed a fraud, then he really threw a wrench in things. He may have raised concern or even started a panic around the MMR vaccine, however, everything that I've shown on this blog about vaccines offers more damning evidence that the thimerosal in vaccines is most likely the culprit. Like me and many others Robert Kennedy is NOT in a fight against vaccinating our children. Why would anyone not want to protect our precious young ones against horrible infectious diseases? He IS, however, in a fight against using the neurotoxin thimerosal in the vaccines and injecting it into very young children and babies.
I get so angry when I read an article that hides behind this discovery of Wakefield's alleged fraudulent research and continues to say that there is no link between vaccines and autism. Here is more information about the politics involved with thimerosal in vaccines.
