Brain Mapping

I've posted about neurofeedback therapy, but I've never posted about the importance of making sure that your therapist does brain mapping.  A brain map is probably the most important part of the neurofeedback because it shows the therapist what exactly which brainwaves need to be trained.

I've spoken to neurofeedback therapists that hadn't a clue what a brain map was.  That concerns me because without a map a therapist couldn't possibly give successful neurofeedback therapy.  If those therapists make people worse, then it makes neurofeedback look like a hoax.

If you need neurofeedback training make absolutely certain that you  ALWAYS ask for a map.  If they don't do brainmaps move on to another therapist until you find one who does.  Click here to find a neurofeedback therapist.
