Worm Bin Ideas

As discussed in a prior post, coconuts have a variety of benefits.  The nutrients in coconut milk, water and oil have all been discussed.  I have just discovered that coconut fibers are useful in gardening.

For worm beds many advise using newspaper as cheap worm bedding.  Coconut fibers can also be used as a worm bed.  Using wet newspaper as a worm bed is a good way to recycle newspaper and put it to good use because the worms eat the newspaper and turn it into compost.  Personally, I like the idea of using a natural resource like coconut fibers instead of the newspapers.
