Encouraged Organic Factory Farming

This video is the reason why organic isn't exactly the greatest way to go.  It is the greatest choice when you don't raise your own and when you don't have access to a family farm; but organic standards according to the USDA isn't always the most reliable.

There is a movement encouraging people to raise their own food.  This decreases the need for questions about the treatment of livestock, livestock feed and GMO use.  If you're in control of how your food is raised, organic labels no longer matter.  Most "natural farmers" (farmers who raise organically, but without certification) allow customers to tour the farm so that customers can see how their food is raised.  This gives the customer the opportunity to answer questions by what they see AND ask questions about what they don't see.  It gives the customer confidence that their food is from a healthy source.

This new attack on orgainic chicken and eggs is disgusting.  Government needs to back off and allow farmers to do what they do best.
